Strategic product planning to deliver product strategies that enhance brand and meet needs of consumers across multiple business functions.
Prepare product line strategy and pricing through the formulation of product briefs, that meet revenue and margin targets
Build & maintain accuracy of seasonal product plans &/or briefing tool up until seasonal VLP is created.
Driving and developing new short and long-term business and innovation opportunities to achieve financial goals for company and consumer benefits.
Communicating with product creation teams on future product direction, and collaborating with GTM teams to bring new products to life
Give clear and concise product direction to design and development teams through briefing and GTM process
Create and deliver compelling and inspirational sales meeting, tradeshow and key account product presentations
Plan, create, and merchandise the product line to ensure an intuitive presentation of technologies and aesthetics with a keen eye for trend and ability for storytelling
Supports Merchandising Director
Work in conjunction with Merchandise Director, Finance, Sales and Operations to set and manage SKU productivity/margin goals
Partner with Merchandise Director and Demand Planning to generate seasonal style level forecasts
Carry out regular market visits and attend relevant trade shows. Solicit input and feedback related to products
Travel domestically and internationally to achieve a high level of market knowledge
Be the consumer expert and mine consumer insights to inform and validate product direction
Know market competitors including their respective positioning, price points, products and market share
Builds and maintains timely and accurate line tools
Purchase competitor and fit samples as needed.
Collaborates with merchandising team to proof product attributes for seasonal workbook.
Maintain VLP & Enovia accuracy post initial seasonal set up.
Category SMU lead until form is submitted.
PD interdepartmental calendar lead.
Lead PD seasonal packaging process to drive holistic & thoughtful approach. Guides timing, deliverables, briefs & consolidation of materials.
Merchant lead for approach to EU business. Partner to identify product opportunities & viability. Create tools & align calendar to run more efficiently and foster a productive partnership.
