Sr. Analyst, Customs Compliance: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family:

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Analyst, Customs Compliance is to be the specialized subject matter expertise in the field of customs and trade, together with the technical acumen to support customs data and reporting (e.g. Business Objects, Business Warehouse, Tableau, Government reporting portals, etc.)

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Support the Global Data Analytics organization in the collection/reporting of:

  • Duty and fee spend

  • Brokerage spend

  • Cross border metrics

  • Import KPIs

  • Develops and supports platforms for managing duty recovery efforts, value reconciliation and duty drawback.

  • Support AI implementation of HTS classification application

  • Trusted Trader Program - develop and supports platforms for managing post-importation audits and brand self- assessments.

  • Import Procedures Guide (IPG) annual maintenance.

  • Subject Matter Expert in InforNexus – both transactional processing, reporting and first sale

  • Business Intelligence (BI) reporting

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5 years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a customs compliance capacity

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products

  • Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing technical systems and reporting solutions focused on customs and trade

  • Ability to manage and organize large amounts of data

  • Maintain customs data and reporting platforms (e.g. Business Objects, Business Warehouse, Tableau, Government reporting portals, etc.)

  • Must have demonstrated experience in apparel and footwear tariff classification

  • Knowledge and experience interpreting Free Trade Agreements as they relate to wearing apparel

  • Ability to enhance and implement ‘best practices’ with a mindset toward continuous improvement

  • Ability to solve complex business problems with forward thinking solutions

  • Ability to work in a fast paced yet casual environment

Hiring Range :

$70,848.00 USD - $88,560.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
