Brand Marketing Coordinator, Skateboarding, Americas

As the Coordinator Brand Marketing, Skateboarding, you will play a key role in building upon our esteemed brand, enabling deep culturally connectivity and world class storytelling as you drive an integrated GTM process and build execute brand stories and plans for the Skateboarding consumer and category.

For this position, some travel is required to be in the field for brand related activations throughout the Americas. While fulfilling this demanding role, your insight greatly matters to us. How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Bring a strong point of view on who the Americas Skate Consumer is and how to connect with them.

  • Support Brand Management by driving the integrated marketing model for Vans’ most important skateboarding initiatives to achieve business objectives.

  • Work with external agencies on programming and production of brand events.

  • Facilitate partnerships, sponsorships, seeding of product.

  • Support Skate Space 198 marketing initiatives

How you will do it:

  • Build strategic partnerships with marketing leaders from Vans PR, Social, Retail, vans.com, Vans loyalty, wholesale.

  • Set cross-functional alignment meetings.

  • Capture meeting notes, action items.

  • Keep track of physical product, samples for shoots.

  • Work closely with internal teams to track progress.

  • Produce reports on campaign performance.

  • Support important relationships on behalf of Vans with people in the industry, athletes, non-profit organizations.

What success looks like:

  • Successful execution of Skate brand marketing campaigns.

  • Integrated Marketing Calendar is being utilized by all functions and teams needed with the most up-to-date information.

  • Seamless integration of cross-functional teams in all regional story planning.

  • Category team feels supported for Skate campaign execution.

Years of Related Professional Experience: X years

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • What we expect you already know: Knowledge in the Action Sports industry is preferred, Microsoft Suite and Keynote proficiency, organizational skills, understanding of integrated marketing plans

  • What we will teach you: How to execute global strategy for the Americas region ensuring all marketing functions are being uplifted.

Hiring Range :

$60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
