VF Corporation Vans: Product Line Coordinator, SMU Footwear in Costa Mesa, California

As a Product Line Coordinator at Vans, you will be responsible for supporting the SMU Footwear Product team during the product creation lifecycle. Responsibilities include cross functional communication coordination, facilitating seasonal reporting and data entry with extensive use of Excel and PLM system, managing and organizing Footwear samples and product line plans for the department including Regional SMU/OMU share outs. This role is a key support to the SMU Footwear Product Management team and interacts with many cross functional teams, which has a great impact on the success of our department. This role will have a hand in shaping the organization of the department by helping to facilitate process, procedures and work flow.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Maintain accuracy and updates within Footwear Product Line Management (PLM) system, in partnership with Product Management team.

  • Build seasonal OMU Visual Line Plan templates and manage the coordination and distribution to the regional teams.

  • Manage seasonal product line plans and distribute to cross functional and regional teams.

  • Create seasonal data and analytical reports for Product Management team.

  • Organize department samples as needed and coordinate samples needed for regional partners and outside partners.

  • Assist in preparation and set up for line review meetings.

What success looks like:

  • Ability to execute against a seasonal development calendar, while demonstrating a strong ability to multi-task and help keep the Product Management team on track for key milestones.

  • Promote and maintain an inclusive team environment, while building strong cross functional relationships.

  • Assist department in attaining a high level of data accuracy in PLM, while supporting the Product Management team in strategic business development through data & analysis.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 0-2 years

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What we expect you already know:

  • Understanding of industry, consumer and culture.

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including pivot table profiency and aggregating data in Excel. Adobe Illustrator and prior PLM experience are a plus.

What we will teach you:

  • The seasonal line planning process, tools needed, and key milestones on the development calendar.

  • How to develop strong cross functional relationships to effectively help keep the Product Management team moving forward and support key business strategies.

Hiring Range :

$57,888.00 USD - $72,360.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
