Senior Analyst, Internal Manufacturing: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family:
The Sr. Analyst - Internal Manufacturing will be responsible for all finance functions within an R&D facility that is confidential to the public. He/she will also oversee our internal controls across the entire VF Internal Manufacturing footprint.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Responsible for the finance functions within an R&D facility (Costing, Forecasting, Budgeting, WEAs, etc.)
Responsible for creating/maintaining process documentation for key internal controls across the entire VF Internal MFG footprint. Ensure that all control activities are in line with VF policies.
Select the audits that will be conducted in the field to ensure that all key controls are being followed. Review findings, track deviations until they are resolved and report out quarterly to supply chain leadership.
Act as a point of contact for the external auditors and manage the collection of any data that they are requesting. Maintain a record of the requested information (what was the document, who provided it, date requested, date completed).
Review/audit financial transactions within internal manufacturing and the Panama hub to ensure proper Segregation of Duties (SOD).
Support the approval process for system access as assigned.
Train accounting teams in VFSLA on VF processes and compliance.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ yrs
Degree in accounting or finance
Public accounting or internal audit experience
Bilingual (English and Spanish are a requirement)
Extensive manufacturing experience in a global footwear and apparel manufacturer
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Financial proficiency, financial controls and procedures
Strong communication skills (Spanish and English)
Strong process and continuous improvement mindset and background
Creation of master data skills
Working knowledge of other statutory and legal requirements in Latin America
Strong documenting operation controls
Excellent organizational skills
Very strong analytical mindset, integrity beyond reproach, and solid software and PC skills
