VF Corporation Designer, 3D - Associate in Greensboro, North Carolina
The Associate 3D Designer works with the 3D Designer to execute the daily jobs of creating 3D garments for proto development.
Use 3D Design software to create virtual garments
Adjust existing or render images necessary for virtual garment
Create and alter existing laser dry finish files for garment application
Assist Sr. 3D Designer or patternmakers in fit and product design development
Assist in special projects related to virtual garment design and presentations
Ongoing training in 3D pattern and garment design
Four year degree with concentration in apparel and/or graphic design.
Ability to complete training within product development: Patternmaking process, Sewing, Tech Services, Laundry, QA, etc.
Advanced user in Adobe Photoshop with experience in alpha channels
Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel and Word
High level of visual and color design.
Basic garment sewing and construction skills.
Patternmaking skills are a plus.
