Operations Planning & Control Intern: Become the Newest Member of the Kontoor Family

As the Operations Planning & Control Intern, you will work with the GBT (Global Business Technology) team to assist the Operations Planning & Control team to collaboratively work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational compliance across the GBT technologies and platforms with the goal of mitigating operational risk and improving GBT’s security position. Your support will include data analysis, data normalization & reporting, as well as assistance with the development, maintenance & adherence of defined processes and procedures associated with Operational Compliance.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Assist with Operational BAU support in accordance with Compliance Policies, Procedures & Standards

  • Assist with Support of Operational Server Refresh (Identify & maintain Compliancy) in accordance with Compliance Policies, Procedures & Standards

  • Includes financial management tracking of hardware server refresh cost to ensure adherence & reconciliation of approved budget

  • Procurement alignment of hardware based on business requirements (Work with Procurement Team & Vendor Partners)

  • Contract Management alignment to align warranty, maintenance, & support of specific HW in support of operational compliancy & business requirements (Work with Contracts Team)

  • Change Management alignment to ensure HW compliancy related items to be scheduled/tracked/completed/reported in support of operational compliancy (Work with ITSM Team & Vendor Partners)

  • Decommission & Disposal alignment in support of operational compliancy (Work with ITSM Team & Vendor Partners)

  • Assist with Support of Operational Capacity Management (SharePoint Site Workflow/Approval Support) in accordance with Compliance Policies, Procedures & Standards

  • Assist with Support and Remediation of Operational Audits, Assessments, CSD331 Standards, & Patching in accordance with Compliance Policies, Procedures & Standards

  • Assist with Support of HW Lifecycle Management Strategy, Policies, Procedures & Standards

  • Includes collaborating with our partners, vendors, applications & tools to ensure processes are followed and hardware/data in accurately maintained within authoritative sources

  • Assist with Reporting & Analytics Management

  • Identify compliance risk, improvement opportunities, current compliance status, server refresh status, capacity requests status, audit items status

Educational/ Position Requirements: ·

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Excellent communication – written and verbal

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Outlook
