Corporate Treasury Summer Intern: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to work with an energetic, fast paced team and gain valuable exposure to all areas of the Corporate Treasury – corporate finance, foreign exchange, and cash operations. The position will take an active role in assisting in the Treasury department’s mission to provide VF with the financial resources needed to execute day-to-day and long-term, while guiding VF through volatile financial markets.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Develop an analysis of fees paid to our partner banks which will provide Treasury’s Management with insight on how our business in being divvied across our bank group

  • Analyze past cash flow forecasts compared to actual results to determine if changes in methodology should be made

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting to meet the department’s compliance goals

  • Prepare credit metric and peer credit rating analysis and rating agency presentations

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute internal weekly global cash and debt reports to provide liquidity insight to management

  • Coordinate with subsidiaries to identify global foreign currency exposures to complete annual review of underlying risks

Educational/ Position Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Finance or Accounting focus preferred, rising senior or above.

  • Strong academic performance

  • Team player and supporter who exhibits high professional conduct, high output, and enthusiasm

  • Excellent systems expertise with Excel, PowerPoint and other modeling skills

  • Strong Analytic and problem solving skills

  • Professional communication and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, eager, fast learner who is well organized and able to manage multiple priorities
