VF Corporation Senior Manager Product Development (Supply Chain) in Nashville, Tennessee

Senior Manager Product Development (Supply Chain) , VF Imagewear, Inc., Nashville, TN.

Direct the supply development team and process, connect Merchandising, supply channels and operational hubs to ensure development strategies and needs are supported and delivered on calendar. Manage and support strategies facilitating the selection/relationship of Image supply base, which supports product development and improvement. Help identify and select new global supply options for continued portfolio improvements. Manage all activities and processes of the supply chain development team, including developers and technical designers. Manage assessment and communication of product status to key stakeholders. Identify and communicate potential risks to timeline or financial targets. Own a sector creation team from initial spec development through production changes. Determine the cost for each of the products that are developed in the product development department. Assist on problem solving for any production and/or quality issues presented during production stage. Establish and manage budget for the product development department. Lead and coach staff. Manage the active development of all products within the supply channels and in support of the Workwear brands.

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a directly related field and 10 years of related experience.

Qualifying Experience must include 10 years of experience in each of the following:

• Garment construction and fabric development.

• Working with textiles in the apparel industry.

• Cost analysis for product development in the apparel industry.

Must have experience in:

• Supply chain in the apparel industry.

• Developing and implementing product development strategies.

• Data analysis for production, distribution, and procurement in the apparel industry.

Up to 20% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted.
