VF Corporation The North Face: Sr. Marketing Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of seasonal marketing and visual plans in partnership with The North Face and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The Sr. Marketing Manager in based in our Pittsburgh showroom and is responsible for leading communication and strategic alignment with Dick’s Sporting Goods and The North Face corporate team in Alameda, CA. This role works cross functionally with Sales, Marketing and Merchandise teams.
Manages key account relationship with Dick’s Sporting Goods. Partner with Sales, Merchandising and Marketing to bring holistic approach to account growth and success.
Understands the seasonal and long-term opportunities and develops multi -year marketing strategies to help foster growth. Partners with TNF Alameda Marketing team in the development, presentation and execution of integrated marketing programs. Establish and report on ROI metrics by campaign.
As part of the Go-to-Market process, work with Sales and Cross Functional marketing teams to help create consumer promotional concepts that build brand equity and drive seasonal initiative stories at all consumer touchpoints. This includes, but not limited to advertising, in-store, PR and events.
Ensures that all Key Account needs are met by developing cohesive, complementary and comprehensive Marketing and Brand Experience programs.
Work with Sales and Merchandise team to understand and prioritize seasonal product assortment and communicates and collaborates with Marketing and Brand Experience teams on seasonal and long term plans.
Follows rollouts of campaigns and in store executions to ensure all are executed within brand guidelines and standards. Leads communication and follow up with DSG teams (internal and external) should execution need improving.
Works with TNF internal marketing team to understand and advise on budget spend in alignment with DGS assortment spends. Responsible for sharing out seasonal priorities and investments to help inform budget spends.
Maintain current knowledge of outdoor industry marketing activities to create closer relationships with key wholesale and establish successful Account Marketing programs.
Attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, Account meetings and other events as necessary.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
BA or BS in Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 10 years Marketing experience in a corporate environment, with progressive leadership experience.
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline oriented environments.
Proven track record of driving sales through the execution of successful marketing plans.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, excellent organizational skills, and an outstanding attention to detail.
Strong writing and editing skills are necessary.
Some travel will be required (10%).
