Role & Responsibilities:

VF Brands is seeking an experienced software engineer specialized in backend design and development to create innovative applications and provide comprehensive technical solutions to various business challenges.

This role combines hands-on coding, problem-solving and SME (subject matter expert) responsibilities in specialized domain.

Additionally, the role involves implementing and advocating industry best practices in SDLC (software development life cycle) and providing technical guidance/consultancy to non-technical co-workers to assist the team to make informed decisions.

Key Result Areas:

1.）Be responsible for application design and implementation with product/project managers

2.）Work with a team of developers and engineers to provide technical solutions.

3.）Translate business requirements to actionable development tasks and analyze impacts to business from an e2e perspective.

4.）Design, develop, test, support and maintain custom build digital products.

5.）Investigate bugs/issues with tools, while designing and implementing fixes and features as needed.

6.）Create and update technical documentations.

7.）Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

8.）Build reusable modules, services and libraries.

9.）Follow standardized procedures to ensure the smoothness of development.

10.）SME consultancy to non-technical co-workers.

11.） Mentor and coach junior engineers.

Functional Competencies –

1.）Solid programming foundation, such as design pattern, concurrency handling, multithreading, UML, etc

2.）Solid knowledge of Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud or Dubbo.

3.）Solid knowledge of micro-service framework, having develop/deploy/debug experience.

4.）Solid knowledge of database relevant technology, MySQL, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, OceanBase.

5.）Having experience in AWS/Azure/Ali-Cloud development and deployment will be a plus.

6.）Having experience in Scrum/Agile methodology execution will be a plus.

7.）Having experience in caching(Redis), message queuing(RocketMQ,Kafaka), ElasticSearch will be a plus.

8.）Having experience in container technology such as docker, Kubernetes, etc. will be a plus.

9.）Having experience in UIUX implementation will be a plus.

10.）Having experience in UC-driven, TC-driven, business scenario plan and execution will be a plus.

11.）Hands-on experience on designing, implementing and deploying of large scale, high QPS, heavy traffic, large data volume e-commerce applications in retailing space is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum Relevant Experience: 5+ years

Academic Qualifications

• Bachler Degree or above.

• Major: Computer Sciences or related.

Language Proficiency:

• English: Reading/Writing

• Mandarin: Fluent

Specific Working Conditions:

Frequency of Travel: 10%
