Position Summary:

As a Product Strategy Intern for Timberland’s Product Strategy and Analysis Team, you will help provide analytical support to inform the strategic direction across Timberland's footwear product categories. You will gain exposure to the design, development, and product management activities involved in the seasonal go-to-market process. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, demonstrates advanced MS Excel skills, and desires to increase their knowledge in the analytics and footwear industries. Primary responsibilities of this role include collect and consolidate data, populate and publish reports, assist with various ad hoc requests, and engage in continuous learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, consolidate and report product monthly forecasts and related analysis. 30% of time involved and relative importance 4-High

  • Provide other routine and ad hoc analysis including but not limited to product lifecycle management, seasonal investments, sell-in for all product categories. 30% of time involved and relative importance 4-High

  • Perform PLM audits and work with the footwear teams to ensure data integrity 20% of time involved and relative importance 3-Medium

  • Support the team with special projects as required. 20% of time involved and relative importance 3-Medium

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 0-3 years related work experience

  • Possess proven ability to consolidate, analyze, and interpret large data sets, providing concise/high level insights

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Driven and highly motivated with a strong attention to accuracy and detail

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a deadline situation

  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team

  • Superior analytical/Problem-solving skills

  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills (in English)
